Farmer's Market in Old Colorado City

Ah, the Farmer's Market in Old Colorado City.  It is a Summer ritual I try not to miss.  The Farmer's Market starts in early June and this year will go until late October.  That is exciting news.  It is great to see the vendors displaying their beautiful goods.

These macaroons are the BEST, they are my husband's favorite. CUCURU Gallery Cafe supplies them at the Farmer's Market.  They are generously sized and are very delicious!

These colorful cherries come from Palisade, Colorado

Mr. Gonzales has been selling his wife's tamales for years at the Farmer's Market come rain or shine.

This is Frank and Cindy (Father and daughter team) for SCHMIDT APIARIES. I met these wonderful people several years ago at the Farmer's Market and I stock up on their honey, because local honey is best.  The SCHMIDT APIARIES is family owned.

My son loves buying the honey sticks from the SCHMIDT APIARIES; unfortunately he doesn't share much.

Come by the Farmer's Market in Old Colorado City on Saturday's 7 am - 1 pm
thru October 30, 2010
