Doggies

I have two little dogs, Maggie and Paige.  They have been my source of companionship and they are wonderful! I know that they watch over the house and me.  I thank God for these sweet spoiled animals.  As Maggie and Paige have been brought in from the cold.  Maggie ran upstairs to lie in Nate's bed and Paige is on the sofa.  These dogs sure do have it hard.

Do these dogs look malnourished?

DO I LOOK FAT?!

Autumn Decorations

I have been buying Fall knick knacks for many years, and I usually wait for the seasonal sales, but lately stores have been very savy with their merchandise.  Unfortunately, I do have to restrain myself; remember I lost my job this past Summer.

Anyways . . .

My son suggested that I take photos of our home and put them in my blog; I thought what a wonderful idea (it was something I was going to do anyways), but I will give him the credit.

Some of these turkey were antique shop finds, the large one back center was from a hobby store and the back right turkey was a yardsale find.  These turkeys are so great to display.  The glass turkey in the center was an antique store find and it is a little lopsided, I just love it.  I had been eyeing the amber glass turkey for almost 5 months and my husband and son encouraged me to buy it;  it might not have been at the shop much longer.

For our future grandchildren.  No pressure Nate.

I enjoy surrounding my family and home with beautiful finds
but my favorite find for this Fall is . . . .

Mr. Ghosty!

Weekend Getaway in Colorado Springs

I missed the coffin races in Manitou Springs, Saturday, October 30th.  That was a bummer.  I had been looking forward to this event, and it will be the second year I was unable to attend.  So, what did I do.  My son and I grabbed our cameras and became tourists in our own little city of Colorado Springs.

Ahh . . . home . . . after a long day of galavanting, it sure was great to come home.  I know we will go out again and be spontaneous photographers.  There is so much to see, even in the familiar.

Simple display;nothing fancy, just fun.
